​In the framework of our Embassy’s cultural projects, a group of students of The Lay Centre at Foyer Unitas visited the Jewish Museum and the Great Synagogue in Rome.
Several groups of students from all over the world have participated in this project thus far, learning about Jewish heritage and culture and about the Roman Jewish community which is one of the oldest in the world.
The Lay Centre offers a home for lay students enrolled in pontifical universities in Rome, who want to integrate their academic studies with opportunities for spiritual growth, service and dialogue.
