On May 28th, 2018 the singer Miriam Toukan performed at the Pitigliani accompanied by the talented musician Idan Toledano.
The concert was organized by our Embassy in the context of marking the 25th anniversary of Israel and the HolySee relations.
Miriam , an Israeli-Arab and a Catholic, is an accomplished singer, her vocal abilities allowed her to merge Israeli melodies with Arab motives and modern music.
Ambassador Oren David, who introduced the artists, emphasized the influence of music as a universal language that can encourage people to dialogue thus helping to create bridges and bring people of different cultures together.
