Yesterday, 24 February, Christian Archeology Conference organized by our Embassy and the Pontifical Institute of Christian Archeology.
Prof. Moti Aviam of Kinneret College spoke.
Ambassador David introduced the event attended by many scholars and students.
" Archeology is a subject that unites us because it shows how deep the links between our two cultures are. Israel is a very young state, but its history is ancient and archaeological discoveries are frequent and highly important to unveil the past of humanity.
The bonds between Jews and Christians go back over 2000 years because the origins of Judaism, as well as of Christianity, are rooted in Israel, the land of the Bible and of the ancient prophets."
