Partial strike at the Israeli MFA

Partial strike at the Israeli MFA

  •
Due to an ongoing labor dispute declared by the employees' association of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at this time, the Consular Department cannot provide some of the consular services usually available.
  •

In addition, the Embassy in Helsinki will be unable to issue passports or receive certificates until further notice.

If the Consulate is unable to provide you with a service that you urgently require, as there is a true emergency, you may contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Employees' Exceptions Committee at harigim@mfa.gov.il

A reply to your request will be given within 10 business days.

Please note that due to the labor dispute, Israeli citizens holding a foreign passport will be allowed to enter and exit the country with their foreign passport until 31.12.2022.

The State of Israel will allow Israeli citizens holding an expired passport to enter Israel using that passport. This information must be verified with your airline of choice, as airlines may choose not to allow boarding with an expired travel document.
