Rosh Hashanah marks the beginning of the Jewish New Year. The two-day festival, which falls on 1-2 Tishrei in the Jewish calendar, was celebrated this year from sundown on Sunday 16th September until Tuesday 18th September.

One of the holiday customs is to eat of apple slices dipped in honey, symbolizing the hope that the coming year will be sweet.

We take this opportunity to wish all our readers a happy and healthy year 5773!
