    ​Located along the Israeli coastlines are top marine education centers, growing the next generation of Israeli marine biologist, seamen, aquaculture and marine biotechnology experts. The School of Marine Sciences on the Mediterranean coast, and the Interuniversity Institute for MarineSciences ​​in Eilat on the Red Sea coast, teach and train undergraduate and graduate students. These institutes also offer diverse national and international courses, attracting both scientist and students from around the globe.  The institutes offer state-of-the-are facilities including fully equipped technical laboratories, pools and tanks fed by fresh sea water, a wide variety of instruments, diving services, boats, research vessels, and libraries.  Scientists and students utilize these centers for studying Ecology, Chemical, Physical and Biological Oceanography, Ichthyology, Invertebrate and Vertebrate Biology, Neurobiology, Molecular Biology and Toxicology.
