The Pavilion of Israel "Sea of Inspiration" has been aimed to take you on a magical underwater adventure. Our website enables you to learn what’s happening at the pavilion and also to take a deeper look at our stimulating multimedia and content.
The "Sea of Inspiration" provides visitors with a thoroughly immersive experience, from façade to final exhibition.
The façade artwork has been designed by renowned Israeli artist Ayala Serfaty, whose work has been influenced by underwater plants and creatures, translating the laws of nature into handmade lighting.
As visitors descend into the pavilion they enter a simulated underwater reality. A fantastical world of micro-organisms showcased to the visitor on 18 8 meter long light pillars demonstrates the basic foundation of life, and realizes the human responsibility of preserving our important natural resources.
Visitors can then continue on this mystical reality into a separate exhibition hall that offers a breathtaking bird’s-eye journey across Israel. Through the "Sea of Inspiration", visitors can interactively realize Israel’s leadership in marine science and technology.
