    Yesterday we in the cinema Lumière film screened Bulgarian Rhapsody. The film was screened at the 10th of March, which has since. 2003 Bulgaria celebrated as the "Day of the rescue of Bulgarian Jews".
    It is a story of a young Jewish friends whose destinies changing young love and hard living a period during World War II. This film, however, reflected in the context of the celebration of the rescue of Bulgarian Jews, because the Bulgarian Orthodox Church was the only religious institution during World War II on the territory controlled by the Nazi Germans who openly and officially took the Jews.
     
    Through the efforts of the representatives of the Orthodox Church and the Bulgarian nation it was during World War II saved up to 48,000 Jewish citizens of Bulgaria before the German extermination camps.
     
    The story unfolds during the summer of 1943 in the Great Bulgaria, where local Jewish residents must undergo the law of the Third Reich. Two friends Moni and Zozo meet with seventeen Seli and they both loved it. Their friendship is put to the test against the background of the ongoing Second World War.
