PM Netanyahu holds series of diplomatic meetings in New York

    Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, yesterday afternoon (Monday, 18 September 2017; Eastern Daylight Time), in New York, held a series of diplomatic meetings.
     
    The Prime Minister met with Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela and discussed with him the importance that Israel ascribes to strengthening bilateral cooperation as well as the considerable potential of such cooperation. The two leaders exchanged mutual invitations to visit.
     
    Prime Minister Netanyahu then met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and discussed with him the strengthening of economic cooperation with emphasis on – inter alia – cyber and he opening of direct air links.
     
    Prime Minister Netanyahu also met with Rwandan President Paul Kagame.
