Authentication Procedure
In line with international practice and Israeli regulation,
documents issued in foreign countries and to be used in the state of Israel
shall first be notarized and legalized by the competent authorities in that
country, and then be legalized by Israeli Embassies or Consulates in that
country.
The Embassy of the State of Israel in China offers Dual
Authentication service and Consular Legalization service for applicants from
the areas under the Embassy’s jurisdiction.
*Attention: Applicants from other jurisdiction in China shall
consult with the relevant Israeli Consulate for details and making
appointments.
Dual Authentication - Beijing
For dual authentication service, applicants shall contact
Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs to submit application and materials. Documents
will be forward to the Israeli Embassy by Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Applicants do not need to contact the Embassy to turn in any materials or make

Consular Legalization
For consular legalization service (notarization or signing
documents in front of the Consul), appointments must be made beforehand.
Appointments can be scheduled over the phone at 010-85320564 or by
E-mail: consul-assistant@beijing.mfa.gov.il
In certain circumstances, documents for legalization need to
be sent to the Consul for review before making appointments. Consular staff
will instruct the applicants for details.
Payment
Applicants shall need to present payment proof
when come to the Embassy for notary service. Please check the Online Payment
System section for details.
Please Note:
a.
The Embassy shall not
prepare legal documents of any kind and shall not provide translation services.
b.
The Embassy shall not
provide any printing or copying services. Applicants must come to Embassy with
ONE EXTRA copy on top of total copies needed, prepared in advance.
c.
The Consul shall apply
discretion according to each case separately, and is entitled to deny service
if the action is not according to the law.
