    ​​The Consulate General of Israel in Bengaluru in a first of its kind event in South India, hosted an Iftar party for the Muslim community in Bengaluru at Shangri-la hotel on Wednesday evening. The unprecedented evening was held to send across the message of peace and brotherhood between the Jewish and Muslim community. It was jointly done with Indian Economic Trade Organisation with the support of President, Mr Asif Iqbal. The occasion was graced by the presence of Dr Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi, Chief of All India Imam organisation (AIIO), Minister of Urban development and Haj, Roshan Baig and Mr Raunaq yar Khan. Our Consul General of Ms Yael Hashavit and DCM Mr Ziv Shalvi were leading the event.
