​GIA Tech Engagement Meet, to further the agenda of the Department of IT, BT and S&T in strengthening its international engagements, in May 2018, KUIC had proposed that the Department host periodic technology engagement meetings with important stakeholders within the GIA ecosystem such as industry CEOs, Secretaries of other Government of Karnataka Departments, and representatives from Consulate Generals and Trade Offices in India. It is proposed that a GIA Tech Engagement Meet be conducted with Israel Consulate and CoE for Cybersecurity, Karnataka as partner institutes.

This edition of GIATEM was conducted in partnership with the Consulate of Israel in the area of Cybersecurity.

The event was a platform to introduce Karnataka startups to global startup ecosystems to provide them international exposure, market access and connects.
