    ​The Consulate General of Israel to South India celebrated Israel's “70th Independence Day”. This year marks Israel’s 70 years of “heritage of innovation”.

    Bengaluru, 23rd May 2018: The Consulate General of Israel to South India celebrated of Israel's “70th Independence Day” in Bengaluru. This year the Consulate celebrated Israel’s “Heritage in Innovation.
    The highlights of the event was the collaboration between Intel-India & the Consulate General of Israel to South India. The Israeli technology ecosystem, which has strong business acumen, specifically with regard to new usage models and future technologies, will make their knowledge and technical capabilities available to the Indian startup ecosystem.
     
    The collaboration also entails academia involvement through the Israel Center at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), which will provide its students access to engage with both the Indian and Israeli technology ecosystem. IIMB will also help conduct seminars and workshops for entrepreneurs from both countries.
    The magnificent performance by the differently abled dancers from Miracle on Wheels were applauding they danced the India Bharatanatyam to the Israeli Song “TOY” a song celebrating the diversity and the acceptance of the different. This performance perfectly matched to the Indian differently abled dancers who danced the India Bharatanatyam to the Israeli Song.
    Master Yathaarth Murthy, a Limca Book Of Record holder for singing the most number of National Anthems and who is now gearing up for the Guinness record. Displaying the India-Israel partnership, this 12-year-old Bangalorean sang the national anthems of both Hindi and Hebrew.
     
    The Israel Consulate raised the toast of Mango lassi with the top-notch names from academia, IT and other sectors in Bangalore.
    Shri HD Kumaraswamy New-elect Chief Minister of Karnataka had visited Israel in August 2017, to Study Novel Agri Models also had admired the Israeli technology. The consulate looks forward to collaborate on various such dimensions to strengthening the Karnataka-Israel relations.
    The Mashav booth which showcased the fruits of the Indo-Israel projects in South India, offering sophisticated Israeli technology to farmers and augmenting vegetable, fruits, Cut flowers production in the State.
    From among the distinguished guest, we had Nivruti Rai, Country Head, Intel India, & Vice President, Data Center Group, Intel Corporation, Mr. Bhaskar Bakthavatsalu, Managing Director – Checkpoint, Ms. Debarati Sen, Managing Director- 3 M India Region, Mr. Soumitra Bhattachrya, Managing Director & President - Bosch Group India, Mr.Jitu Virwani - Chairman & Managing Director Embassy Group and the Consuls Generals from Germany, Canada, Swiss and UK.
