Consulate General of Israel to South India launched the year-long
“Leadership Beyond Duty” initiative on 2
nd
of May, 2019 at Bangalore International Centre
, by unveiling
“Beyond Duty” exhibition that showcases
the story of diplomats from different countries who went beyond their duty, sometimes in great personal expense, and saved Jewish lives during the Holocaust.
The Consulate General of Israel partnered with Leaders from various sections such as Academic/Education, Civil Society, Religious, and other Diplomatic Missions. This partnership will result in hosting, throughout the year, leadership programs for leaders, teachers, and young adults. As a source of inspiration, we will refer to the stories of diplomats who took the brave decision, “beyond their duty”, to save Jewish lives during the Holocaust. Their story will also be displayed as an exhibition titled
“Beyond Duty”.
