    Israeli entrepreneur and investor Jonathan Medved was the keynote speaker at this year's American-Israel Chamber of Commerce Eagle Star Awards.  Medved has been part of the founding team of several successful Israeli startups and has invested in alomst 100 Israeli startups over the past two decades. 


    In a passionate speech about Israel's economic environment, Medved boasted about Israel economic growth over the past 20 years.  "Israel's economic growth has been twice that of the OECD. The S&P raised Israel's credit rating to an A+ last September. Today there are 300 Research and Development Centers active in Israel. There's a buzz about Israel!" stated Medved.

    Medved also toasted the AICCSE's accomplishments over the past 20 years and its role in bolstering development in Israel and in the Southeast United States.  Since its founding in 1992, the AICCSE claims to have generated over a billion dollars in trade and completed transactions with Israel. "Without question this chamber is the premier Israel trade organization in the world," said Medved. "People have a huge impact on history. Here you can see what people have accomplished."

    U.S. in terms of economic recovery and job creation. Some U.S. cities are already commissioning detailed reports on economic results from business with Israel. "We have alot to do," said Medved. "We must develop new programs, new software to broaden knowledge and connection." He toted a newly founded program to bring American MBA students to Israel.
