Israel's Consul of Economic Affairs to the Southern United States Roee Madai was honored by the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce Southeast for his role in fostering trade and investment between Israel and the United States during his tenure. AICCSE Chairman Lorin Coles presented Madai with the Community Partner Award during the AICCSE Eagle Star Awards Gala Tuesday evening. 

The Chamber released the following statement:

"Roee played a leadership role in the development of the Chamber’s Strategic Plan, and demonstrated his belief by enabling the addition of staff to implement it.  While his tenure in the US ends soon, he has set the standard for cooperation that is expected to be followed by his successor as Economic Consul, Michal Nadam.  For these reasons, it is altogether fitting that the Israel Economic Mission to the US South receive this year’s Community Partner Award."
