Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon this morning (Wednesday 21 March 2012,) at Ben-Gurion International Airport, on behalf of the Government, welcomed French Foreign Minister Alain Juppé and the families of those who were
murdered in Toulouse, who are escorting the coffins of the victims.
Deputy Foreign Minister Ayalon thanked French Foreign Minister Juppé, on behalf of the Government, for the French Government’s moving humane gesture and for the full cooperation and the urgent action to find the assailants and bring them to justice.
Deputy Foreign Minister Ayalon told the families: “Today, all Israel is in pain and mourning over the deaths of innocent children and a dedicated father.” Both he and French Foreign Minister Juppe attended the recitation of the
Kaddish prayer upon the lowering of the coffins from the plane.
French Foreign Minister Juppé thanked Deputy Foreign Minister Ayalon for the welcome and said: “This was a crime against the Jewish community, against France and against all of humanity.” He promised that the French government would do its utmost to bring the murderers to justice.
