Participants learned why Israel is a major force in the Southeast regional economy and how to get involved in this mutually beneficial activity through innovation, investment, legal considerations, business culture, trade, and M&A.

Shai Robkin, the newly appointed President & CEO of the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce (AICC) Southeast Region, gave the keynote address about Southeast-Israel business opportunities and his vision for taking the Chamber to the next level as the most effective organization of its kind in North America. In addition, Yair Averbuch, the CFO of Caesarstone, an Israeli manufacturer and world leader for producing non-laminate surfaces, presented a case study for plans to invest $75 million in the Southeast U.S. for expanded production lines. Elhay Farkash, CEO of the Israeli-based LightAPP Technologies, also presented his exciting business opportunities with Georgia Power to integrate CleanTech applications in industrial plants throughout the region.

This successful Professional Seminar is the latest example of how U.S.-Israel continues to flourish, and why the Southeast retains its position as one of the top centers in North America for this bilateral economic activity.
