    The Permanent Mission of Israel to the UN in Geneva is looking for a Public Diplomacy Advisor​ in charge of speech writing & project coordination​

    Overview of the role:

    An excellent opportunity for a dynamic, eloquent and highly-motivated individual to play a key role in the Mission’s public diplomacy work. The position includes writing statements and speeches for the Ambassador and other diplomats at the Mission of Israel on Geneva. The position also includes playing an important role in the creation and implementation of public diplomacy program of the Mission, including projects in the UN and other International organizations and public events.


    Essential:

      • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
      • BA required (preferably in or a related field to international relations, political science, communications)
      • Experience in writing speeches and op-eds
      • Creativity, flexibility and excellent communications skills
      • Proven organizational and administrative skills
      • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
      • Motivation and enthusiasm to work as part of a small, agile, ambitious team
      • Good IT skills, including the ability to quickly learn new programmes
      • Familiarity with the Israel and Middle East politics. 


     Type of Position:

    Fixed Term, Full-time.

    The initial contract will be for one year, with a three-month probationary period.
