    Moran Samuel has become a world-ranked Paralympic athlete in rowing and is also a member of Israel's national wheelchair women's basketball team.

    Moran Samuel has become a world-ranked Paralympic athlete in rowing, winning a gold medal at the Adaptive Rowing Regatte in Gavirate, Italy, in 2012. Called up to the podium, when the  organizers found they didn't have the music to the Israeli anthem “Hatikva,” she took the microphone and sang the anthem herself.

    Moran is also a member of Israel's national wheelchair women's basketball team, and a physical therapist.
