Members of the cosmopolitan quartet live in Amsterdam and their playing is an organic and harmonious blending of the Andalusian musical tradition with the addition of influences from Indian classical music, jazz, contemporary and European folk traditions. The quartert - comprised also of Israeli jazz pianist Avishai Darash, Italian percussionist Francesco Bongiorno, and German-French bass player Stephan Reidl - was greeted with enthusiasm by the audience in Jerusalem, a city used to the creativity produced by a mixture of cultures.
