    ​The art of coexistence has taken root in the Israeli-Arab village of Sakhnin in the Galilee, home of the Sakhnin Biennale.

    An alternative art festival, the Sakhnin Biennale features pieces by artists not only from Israel but from 65 other countries as well. The village, which transforms into a living museum during the festival, has become a meeting place for northern Israel's diverse population which includes Jewish, Muslim and Christian communities.
