​Stars of the international and local literary world descended on Jerusalem last May to participate in the biennial Fifth International Writers’ Festival in Jerusalem, which was held as always in Mishkenot Sha’ananim, the historic complex built by Sir Moses Montefiore overlooking the Old City Walls.

The wide array of acclaimed authors who participated in the festival held readings, lectures, workshops and conventions, and contributed to Jerusalem’s legacy as a font of local and global inspiration.
