    Ramat Hasharon is on track to becoming a go-to place for art and culture, and an international festival in July set the tone just in time for the municipality's 90th anniversary.
    "Our aim is to make unique things in Ramat Hasharon... and this festival is one of a number of all-round activities we make all through the year and one of its highlights," says Guy Kellner, a city official. "This is our goal - to make something unique that will last many years, and that will be one of the top culture activities in Israel."
    Chalk artist Yonatan Gal was one of the expert painters, environmental sculptors and musicians from Israel and Holland, Italy, the United States and Russia who contributed their diverse talents to the festivities. "It's only two dimensions and it's only basic chalk or pastel," he shows onlookers in this video. "From this direction you can see the illusion at its best and you can see that it looks like three dimensions, like a hole in the ground."
