The third annual Jerusalem Light Festival, held in and around Jerusalem’s Old City, proved a popular early summer destination. Some 250,000 people came to see exhibits inspired by light festivals around the world.
Artistic director Eduardo Hubscher took advantage of the city’s nighttime romantic spirit to stage 24 major works of light, and many smaller ones, too. Well-known international artists were among the exhibitors along five colorfully marked trails winding around and through the Old City.
