Israel joined Finland, Turkey and Romania to host this year's EuroBasket, the European basketball championship organized by FIBA, the International Basketball Federation.
Thousands of basketball fans from Italy, Lithuania, Ukraine, Georgia and Germany flocked to Tel Aviv to cheer on their teams. Fans relaxed on Tel Aviv's pristine beaches, experienced Tel Aviv's vibrant nightlife, and rooted for their home teams at basketball games.
Whether they dunked in Tel Aviv's Mediterranean ocean or witnessed their favorite players score slam-dunks on the court, fans are sure to remember EuroBasket Tel Aviv.
