Maybe it's something about the dark features and green eyes. Travelers Digest readers think Israelis are hot.

Tel Aviv was ranked No. 10 on the site's 2012 list of Cities with the Best-Looking Men). "Tel Aviv has become a hot spot for trendsetters worldwide. Local cuties flaunt their fit bodies - made all the better by their year-round tans - at any of the numerous beaches and cafés found on the 10-mile seaside strip," wrote journalist Jessica Benavides Canepa.

"Yes, all the pretty boys here are in Tel Aviv," agrees one Israeli (female) sunbather we
interviewed.

The city came in seventh on the Travelers Digest list of Cities with the Best-Looking Women. "Tel Aviv is the focal point of Israel's youth culture and nightlife scene, so it makes sense that the most beautiful girls in the country can be found lounging on the city's Mediterranean beaches and in its happening night spots," wrote Dakota Smith, accompanying the entry with a shot of Bar Refaeli.
