As every year, the Embassy of the State of Israel brings top artists to Croatia, and this year we have a real musical treat in the form of the Sfatayim group!

Sfatayim is an Israeli music group made up of Moroccan Jews whose music reflects the specific culture and tradition they grew up with. An interesting blend of Moroccan and Israeli influences - as well as world rock music - creates a unique atmosphere. The Sfatayim group has been present on the Israeli music scene for four decades. From something that was a phenomenon for its time - the first group to sing in Moroccan Arabic in Israel - Sfatayim paved the way for other similar music groups made up of Israeli migrants, creating a completely unique sound in the Israeli music space.

There is a great connection between the State of Israel and the Jewish community in Morocco, as well as historically good relations between Moroccan kings and the Jewish community, which is why these concerts, as part of cultural activities with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco, have an additional dimension.

This year, the Croatian audience will be able to enjoy two performances by the Sfatayim group, on July 3, 2022 at 6:30 pm in Samobor (the park at Ferde Livadića 7), and on July 6, 2022 at 8.30 pm in Varaždin (the Theatre Square in Varadžin). ENTRANCE IS FREE!
