Based on the decision of Yad Vashem, the Embassy of the State of
Israel awarded a medal and a certificate of the Righteous among the
Nations to the late husband and wife Schmidlehner who have, in the dark
years of persecutions of Jews, saved the life of the Jewish boy Dan
Flesch.
The ceremony took place in Ludbreg on March 14, 2012 in cooperation with the Municipality of Ludbreg.
