    Responding to homeland security developments and trends around the world, Israel HLS 2012 will focus on four principal areas that are the top of every government’s list: Cyber Security, Securing the Smart City, Critical Infrastructure Protection, and Emergency Management.
    The conference will examine the challenges these areas represent, and will discuss the deployment of appropriate technologies and systems. Participants will also examine the development of new operational procedures to counter the growing threats of global terror, as well as crime, public order and natural disaster.
    The conference has set as its principal objective the creation of an international dialog among government bodies and security officials. Israeli HLS companies will display their innovative technologies, creating a platform that promotes Israeli exports while encouraging international cooperative ventures with local industry.
    This year’s conference will be larger than its predecessor. About 800 representatives and delegations from some 50 countries are expected to attend, all of whom will return home knowing they have conferred with top security experts and seen advanced tools that are necessary to deal with emerging threats.

    NACIONALNA SIGURNOST, 2. MEĐUNARODNA KONFERENCIJA

    S obzirom na razvoj novih trendova u nacionalnoj sigurnosti, ovogodišnja konferencija na istu temu, fokusirati će se na 4 osnovna područja, koja su prioritetna svim vladama u svijetu: Cyber sigurnost, sigurnost tzv "pametnih gradova", zaštita infrastrukture i upravljanje kriznim situacijama.
    Konferencija će se otvoriti dijalog na izazove koje navedena područja nose, te će biti razgovora i o primjeni odgovarajućih tehnologija i sistema. Sudionici konferencije imati će priliku saznati više o razvoju novih operativnih procedura koje se suočavaju sa rastućim prijetnjama globalnog terorizma, ali i kriminala, održavanja javnog reda te prirodnih katastrofa.
    Osnovni cilj konferencije je kreiranje međunarodnog dijaloga između vladinih tijela i osoba zaduženih za sigurnost. Unutar konferencije, biti će održan i sajam inovativnih tehnologija.
    Ovogodišnja konferencija biti će veća od prethodne. Očekuje se sudjelovanje oko 800 predstavnika i delegacija iz više od 50 zemalja svijeta. Svi sudionici mogu biti sigurni da će se kući vratiti sa spoznajom da su susreli vrhunske stručnjake u području sigurnosti ali i da su vidjeli najnaprednije tehnologije
