Instructions of the Chief of Staff and Defense Minister to all those whose military status is not in order

This is to inform you that on the occasion of Festivals of Tishrei, the Chief of Staff and Defense Minister has decided to give another opportunity to enter Israel from September 2 until October 11, 2018 to those who live abroad and whose military status is not settled.
From September 2 and until October 11, 2018 one entrance only will be permitted without being arrested to those evading the duty of security service and those staying abroad without permission.
During the mentioned above dates it will be possible to contact 03-7387010/1 and to report to the military authorities to arrange the status without being arrested.
Exiting Israel for those evading the security service duty without being arrested will be allowed only until October 11, 2018. It should be clear that from October 12, 2018, those evading the security service duty will be arrested upon leaving Israel.
Please be advised that permitted entrance without being arrested will be allowed only for those evading the security service duty (those who did not report on the day they were supposed to be drafted into the IDF). All the rest of the citizens whose status in the army service is not settled (such as deserters abroad – soldiers who fled or left the country during serving the army without permission) should settle their status according to the required procedures before arrival to Israel.
