The City of Zagreb in co-operation with  the Embassy of the State of Israel, the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investments (HAMAG-BICRO) and Zagreb Fair, proudly presents: 

This year we launch Zagreb Connect, a pitch and invest event, bringing together passionate high quality early stage businesses and angel investors. 20 exciting start-up projects from Croatia and its neighboring countries will be selected by organizations experienced in training the founders and assisting them in launching their start-up programs.

Zagreb Connect will kick off with special guest speakers from Israel, the genuine Start-up Nation, sharing their experiences on the mechanics of creating a start-up, making a successful exit and angel investing. After that, each of the preselected businesses will be given three minutes to pitch who they are, what they do and what makes them special.

The aim of this conference is to give additional boost to the flourishing start-up community of the Central and South-Eastern Europe by helping new entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into successful businesses. From the investor’s point of view, Zagreb Connect will be a unique opportunity to access the undiscovered universe of high quality early stage and emerging businesses in search for financial and non-financial support.
