    His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew arrived today (Friday 23 May 2014) at Ben Gurion International Airport.
    He was greeted at the airport by Minister of Tourism Uzi Landau Minister, His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III Patriarch of Jerusalem, Ambassador of Greece to Israel Spyridon Lampridis, Consul General of Greeece in Jerusalem Mr. George Zaharioudakis, the Consul General of Turkey in Jerusalem Mr. Mustafa Sarnic and the National Commander of the Order of St. Andrew Dr. Anthony Limberakis.
    The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople will meet in Jerusalem with His Holiness Pope Francis to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the meeting of Pope Paul VI and Patriarch Athenagoras, who took the first step toward reconciliation of the schism between the Eastern Orthodox and Western Catholic Churches in 1964.
