PM Netanyahu meets with Nepalese DPM and FM Kamal Thapa

    Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, today (Wednesday, 25 May 2016), met with Nepalese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kamal Thapa.
     
    Prime Minister Netanyahu inquired about the situation of those who were injured in last year's earthquake as well as the progress in the reconstruction. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Thapa expressed his deep appreciation for the aid and support from the State of Israel.
     
    The two men noted the warm nature of relations between the two countries, which were established 56 years ago, and discussed ways to further deepen bilateral cooperation in various fields.
     
    At the start of the meeting, Foreign Ministry Director General Dr. Dore Gold and his Nepalese counterpart, Shankar Das Bairagi, signed an MOU on the holding of a diplomatic dialogue.
