Israel - Czech Republic political dialogue

    The dialogue precedes the upcoming visit of Czech Foreign Minister Lubomír Zaorálek to Israel on April 4th. During his visit, the minister will open the third Israel-Czech Forum at the Israeli MFA, where issues of mutual interest will be discussed.

    The annual political dialogue between Israel and the Czech Republic was held on Monday (March 21, 2016) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem. The dialogue was headed by the Political Director of Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Alon Ushpiz and the Political Director of the Czech Republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ivan Jestřáb.

    The political dialogue is an additional expression of the close and friendly network of relations between the two countries. In the talks, a wide variety of current political issues, which are at the center of both countries' foreign affairs agenda today, were discussed, as were various regional and multilateral topics.
     
    The dialogue precedes the upcoming visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Lubomír Zaorálek to Israel on April 4th. During his visit, the minister will open the third Israel-Czech Forum at the Israeli MFA, where issues of mutual interest will be discussed.
     
    On May 19th, a meeting of the two governments, led by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Czech Prime Minister Sobotka, will take place in Prague, where various agreements and MOU's of cooperation will be signed.
