    ​Israel’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Danny Danon, met today with UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon in their first official meeting. During the meeting, Ambassador Danon called on the UN Secretary General to “uproot the structural hypocrisy and hostility against Israel from the UN,” and added that “the Israeli public perceives the UN as a biased institution against Israel. “

    In their meeting, Ambassador Danon told the Secretary General: “We need to build bridges between Israel and the United Nations, and to show to the world the true face of Israel.”
