The Jerusalem Post held its annual conference in New York, with hundreds in attendance from the United States, Israel, and abroad. Israel's ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, spoke about the plague of Antisemitism that is sweeping the world. "We see the rise of Antisemitism from our neighbors and our leaders. Public officials that engage in this bigotry must be condemned and isolated, and they should not remain in office. We must fight this Antisemitism wherever it occurs, and no one is immune."
Danon continued: "In ten days, on June 26, we will convene a special session of the General Assembly to fight against anti-Semitism. The UN is talking about Antisemitism because we will not be quiet while we see rampant anti-Semitism in Europe, in the US, and around the world. It is the responsibility of all countries to protect their Jewish citizens. We are not in a post-Antisemitism era, but I am optimistic that we can get there. We will confront, we will challenge, and we will not be silenced."
