Prosor Calls to SG: Condemn attacks in Israel

  •   Ambassador Prosor Calls on the Secretary General to Condemn the Terror Attacks in Israel for the Third Time this Week: “I have not heard any condemnation- not of today’s attack nor of the other attacks against Israelis”

Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, Ron Prosor, called on the Secretary General to condemn today’s terror attack that wounded three IDF soldiers when a Palestinian terrorist intentionally plowed his car into them: “I am writing to you, for the third time in three days, to call your attention to a terror attack against Israelis, and to urge you to speak out. Prosor added that this silence stands in stark contrast to the immediate and extensive condemnations issued in response to other horrific terror attacks.

Ambassador Prosor urged the Secretary General to denounce the Palestinian incitement to terror that encourages attacks on Israelis, and added that while Hamas rushed to praise today’s attack, the international community has yet to even address the attacks from earlier this week: “Terror is terror, no matter where it takes place, or who is harmed. The people of Israel deserve the same level of concern and empathy as any other people in the world.”
