    Georgia hosts a Jewish Historical Seminar on June 27-July 6, 2010. The participants had lectures about the history of the Jews in Georgia as well as visits to the various regions of Georgia in order to see different sites of Jewish culture.

    On June 4, an exhibition, “Georgian Jews – History and Culture”, was opened at Georgian National Museum. The Exhibition is open for the public till September 1.

    The Participants of the Jewish Historical Seminar led by professors Yom Tov Assis and Shalom Sabar, accompanied by the Ambassador of Israel Dr. Itzhak gerberg, paid a courtesy visit on the Patriarch of Georgia Ilia II.
