    Mr. Yuli Edelstein, Minister of Public Diplomacy and Diaspora of Israel, visited Georgia on August 27-28. He had official meetings with his counterpart Mr. Mirza (Papuna) Davitaia and Minister of Culture and Science of Georgia, Mr. Nikoloz Rurua. The parties talked about the future cooperation as well as strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.

    ​The Minister, together with the other members of the delegation, also visited Jewish community in Georgia at the Jewish House of Tbilisi. The delegation, headed by Mr. Edelstein consisted of the Ambassador of Israel to Georgia, Yuval Fuchs; The Head of Nativ, Prime Minister's Office of Israel, Naomi Ben Ami; Adviser to the Minister of Public Diplomacy and Diaspora Affairs, Kobi Tzoref; first Secretary of the Embassy of Israel in Georgia, Ron Schechter and the member of Knesset, Nino Abesadze.
