“Georgia and Israel have old traditions and values and this makes these countries natural allies, - Deputy Minister said during the visit, - I came here to discuss how to increase economic and cultural cooperation, especially in the tourism sector. We are also interested in increasing agricultural and academic relations between the two friendly states. I had a chance to go out of the city and visit some of the sites and I was very much impressed by the beauty of the country and the warmth and hospitality of people. I felt here at home right away and I am sure, Georgians will feel at home in Israel, too. Georgian and Jewish people may be small nations, but we have a very long past and I also believe, very bright future".
