The Embassy Press Office serves as a resource for editors, journalists, and broadcasters to receive information and official statements on issues relating to Israel, notably in the areas of politics, economics, culture, and academics.
In addition to its daily communications with local, national, and international media, the Press Office distributes press releases, updates, and statements on key developments. The department arranges interviews and briefings for members of the media with the ambassador, the embassy spokesman, and other Israeli diplomats. The department coordinates Israeli government officials' visits and develops the media components.
The Press Office also communicates with the journalists and the general public via facebook.
