Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Thursday in Jerusalem to discuss ways of bringing the Palestinians back to the negotiating table. The 4-hour dinner meeting stretched well into Friday morning, and marked Secretary Kerry's fifth visit to Israel since March.

The Prime Minister has repeatedly expressed interest and agreement with Secretary Kerry's peace-plan as both leaders wait for the Palestinians to agree to participate in negotiations.

Earlier last week, Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke about his desire to resume peace negotiations: "[O]ur fervent hope is for peace, a genuine peace that can be achieved only through direct negotiations without preconditions. We're ready to enter such negotiations. I hope the Palestinians are too."
