​In his first official visit to Toronto, Ambassador Barak met with Premier Wynne, two senior economic ministers--Dr. Hoskins and Dr. Moridi--and Lieutenant Governor Onley.

At the top of the agenda was a renewed push to enhance economic and trade ties between Ontario and Israel. According to Ambassador Barak, "I see great importance in stregthening ties between the Province of Ontario and the State of Israel. In addition to learning about the fields in which we already cooperate, including brain research and innovation, I look forward to discussing ways to deepen our collaboration in untapped sectors."

Ambassador Barak was also welcome by the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto at a community leadership reception.
