The Embassy of the State of Israel presents its compliments to the Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to the Diplomatic Missions accredited in Oslo and has the sad duty to inform that Mr. Shimon Peres (1923-2016), the State of Israel’s ninth President (2007–2014), passed away in the morning of September 28, 2016. His State Funeral will take place on September 30, 2016, at 10:00 hrs on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
A Book of Condolences will be open for signature at the Embassy of Israel, Parkveien 35, Oslo, on Friday, September 30, 2016, from 11:00 -14:00 p.m. Due to Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year, the Book of Condolences will be open again on Wednesday and Thursday, October 5, 2016, and October 6, 2016, from 11:00 -14:00 p.m.
The Embassy of the State of Israel avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to the Diplomatic Missions accredited in Oslo the assurances of it highest consideration.
