The Knesset is proud to be celebrating its 70th anniversary and seven decades of Israel's strong commitment to parliamentary democracy. We are marking this important milestone throughout 2019 with a variety of events that highlight the Knesset's activity in a number of different fields.

In recent years, the Knesset has made considerable efforts to further enhance and strengthen its international activity, as we attach great importance to promoting parliamentary diplomacy and strengthening our cooperation with parliaments around the world.

We are proud and honored that many speakers of parliament from around the world responded to our request and prepared a clip congratulating the Knesset on its 70th anniversary.
