Mumbai Dances on the Tunes of TARARAM

    Renowned Israeli rhythm group “TARARAM” thrilled Mumbaikars with joy and disbelief at the beginning of the year 2014.

    TARARAM which is a blend of rhythm, movement and wit interwoven with tightly choreographed body drumming sequences visited Mumbai from 03-06 January 2014. 

    On 4th January TARARAM performed at the National Center for Performing Arts for the friends of the Consulate that included government officials, members of the consular corps in Mumbai, Bollywood personalities, journalists, entrepreneurs and students. The performance was co-organised by the Indian Center for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Mumbai and the Consulate. 

    On 5th Jan, TARARAM performed on the closing night of the TechFest, the annual technology festival of IIT Bombay. More than 3000 people, mostly students were present in the jam-packed open air theatre.​
