Consul General Visits Nashik

    The Consul General of Israel in Mumbai, Mr. Jonathan Miller visited Nashik on 9 April, 2014, where he met the Mayor of Nashik, Adv. Yatin Wagh, and senior officers in the municipal corporation, to discuss areas of co-operation between Israel and the city of Nashik. There is an imense potential for cooperation between Israel and Nashik in the areas of agro-technologies, water management, renewable energy and homeland security.​

    Earlier in the day, the Consul General visited Bhonsala Military School in Nashik which was established before the indepdence of India. He addressed the students and faculty members of the school on various military schools in Israel and career options for Indian students.
    In the evening, Mr. Miller visited the office of the Nashik Industries & Manufacturers' Association (NIMA), which is the representative body of small, medium and large scale industries located in Nashik district since last 34 years. There, he made a presentation on economic co-operation between Israel and India and opportunities for Entrepreneurs in Nashik. ​
