Ambassador Daniel Taub was honoured at the 2013 Initiative Award for supporting young start-ups and entrepreneurs through the Bizcamp Tel Aviv competition. The award ceremony took place on Thursday 31 January and was organised by Grassroot Diplomat, an organisation that bridges the gap between civil society, government officials and diplomatic activities.
Organised by the city of Tel Aviv and Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bizcamp’s ten day itinerary (14th-24th October) was formed around a schedule of business meetings and workshops with Israel’s most successful start-ups, entrepreneurs, tech investors and leading multinational tech firms.
