With an emphasis on Nepal, Earn and Learn program's potential for agricultural transformation was discussed in one of the special sessions during the 4th Annual Conference on Israeli Solutions for Sustainable Development that was held at Tel Aviv University. Mr. Jalan Kumar Sharma, CEO of Sana Kishan Bikash Bank was the main speaker. He gave a presentation about the utilization of agricultural knowledge/skills gained by Nepali students in Learn and Earn programme and its impact.
H.E. Mr. Gil Haskel, Head of MASHAV, H.E. Mr. Hanan Goder, Former Ambassador of Israel to Nepal, Dr. Ram Fishman from Tel Aviv University and other dignitaries were present during the conference.
